Week One – Introduction

Technology has always been a great accessory to the ever-changing world and especially in the learning environment of a classroom.

During class, we were instructed to use a website called “bubbl.us” – a website used for brainstorming activities and allows you to save the image of the finished product after completion. The concept of this website was interesting, as I was intrigued by the entire outlook. Using the “bubbl.us” website, we were to build a mind map on what K-6 learning technologies that students were exposed to within a classroom. My group and I came up with this:

Mind map

We could edit the colours to show the difference between each level that we created. Overall, using “bubbl.us” was an educational experience for curious pre-service teachers to utilise a freeware program with qualities that were useful within a classroom setting.
